Saudi is undergoing a massive transformation. Its leadership is spearheading Vision 2030, a bold initiative pouring over $1 trillion into infrastructure, tourism, and luxury developments. By 2025, more than 50 new luxury hotels will open, making Saudi a rising star in the Middle East’s travel scene. What’s even more exciting? The energy among locals, especially millennials, is palpable. Imagine a generation genuinely excited about their future! With one of the youngest populations, 63 % of the population is under 30, Saudi’s economy is poised for growth.
 

The Evolution of Women's Rights 

One of the most inspiring aspects of Saudi Arabia's transformation is the progress in women's rights. Just a few years ago, women weren’t allowed to drive, work in many fields, and had to adhere to strict dress codes. Fast forward to today, and women are thriving as Uber drivers, shopkeepers, tour guides, and even business owners, wearing what they choose. During my trip, I met a remarkable tour guide who shared her journey. After restrictions were lifted, she earned her MBA in 2020 and launched a successful tour guide business in Jeddah. Her story is just one of many examples of the incredible change, especially for women, happening in Saudi Arabia.

A common question I get is: What can women wear in Saudi Arabia? Thankfully, there’s now a lot of freedom! You’ll see women in everything from jeans and silk abayas to headscarves and burqas—it’s all about personal preference. You can wear whatever you want!
